Romsey Area Information Network conducted a survey of access to buildings, premises and businesses in Romsey Town Centre.
The information gathered is intended to be a practical and factual guide for people with disabilities and, where appropriate, their carers. It indicates ease of access to, and movement within, buildings.
The Access Guide is part of Southern Test Valley Information Service, which is provided by Romsey Area Information Network (RAIN). It forms part of the RAIN Community Database so the menu links are the same throughout, so you can move freely between all the pages.
Click on any of the Alphabetical links above to search the Access pages.
To read the Community Database you need to use the RAIN Home link.
The Access Guide, although especially intended for people with disabilities may well prove helpful for others. The nationally recognised icons shown below depict the available facilities; a link to this diagram is on the Menu from all the Access pages. Other icons will be added whenever appropriate.
If you are unable to find what you are looking for, or if your business is not represented, do please contact either RAIN, at the above address, or
the web manager with your query.
In addition to this website, hard copy of the Guide can be viewed in any of the RAIN Centres - see a list of these from the link on the Menu panel.
The Accessibility Guide is also available on tape, please apply to the RAIN address if you need a copy
